Bookseller's Choice (February) Book Club: Ring Shout

Our Bookseller's Choice book club is a veritable literary “grab bag” featuring selections from all genres, a sort of charcuterie board of delectable reads selected by our team. Each month, we'll meet at the shop to discuss our read, sharing perspectives and conversation around the book and its themes.

For the month of February, we are reading Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark, and our discussion will be led by Jasmine Sutton Banks with Danville Project Literacy:
A chilling blend of history, horror, and resistance, Ring Shout follows a group of Black women monster hunters in 1920s Georgia battling literal demons hiding behind the white hoods of the Ku Klux Klan. Fierce, fast-paced, and unforgettable, it turns America’s darkest horrors into something that can be fought… and defeated.

RING SHOUT is in the shop and available for purchase in person NOW.
